Literary Nymph Reviews Outlaw Lovers series!

August 4th, 2008

Hi!

For folks who want to follow the Outlaw Lovers series Literary Nymph Reviews has given some good insight into each story. Follow this link for more on the Outlaw Lovers or for snippets see below for the scoop!

http://literarynymphsreviewsonly.blogspot.com/

Outlaw Lovers can be read in this order:

Ebooks

1. Jude Outlaw

2. The Claiming

3. Colter’s Revenge

4. Tyler’s Woman

or in print we have: Outlaw Lovers: Jude and Luke.

Here’s the reviews!

5 Nymphs to Tyler’s Woman and 4 Nymphs going to the rest of the series…check out what Scandalous Minx has to say:

Scandolous Minx of Literary Nymph Reviews gives “The Claiming” 4 Nymphs and says this:

“Callie Callahan is a woman on the run. Trying to find a safe haven from the Claiming Law has landed her in a deserted cabin…

Luke Outlaw may have a serious injury but the fire he carries for Callie still roars to life. Now that he had found her, he will do anything to protect and keep her…

…I enjoyed Luke and Callie’s story. The couple had been through so much, but faith and determination has brought them back together again. Callie knew, in her heart, that she would accept anything fate handed her as long as Luke was a part of the package deal. Some of the secrets he discovered hurt Luke and I was nervous that he would turn his back on Callie. However, in the end the couple did what was necessary to keep each other safe from harm. Jan Springer has written yet another wonderful part of this series with The Claiming.”

More of Scandalous Minx’s reviews on The Claiming and Colter’s Revenge can be found here:

Scandalous Minx gives 4 Nymphs to “Colter’s Revenge”…

“A virus designed to make women submissive has turned deadly, killing most of the female population. The government has issued a law that has taken away women’s rights and made them claimable by groups of men. Women have become no more than sexual property…

Dr. Colter Outlaw met a beautiful sex slave while serving in Iraq and knew he found his other half. When he returns to free the woman he loves, he was greeted with a “Dear John” letter…

Ashley Blakely found a haven in Colter’s arms and couldn’t understand how her trust could be so sadly misplaced. He promised her forever but all she received was more time with her sadistic owner…

After years of plotting revenge, Colter is finally face to face with the woman who wounded his heart. He wants answers and is willing to do what is necessary to get them.
Colter and Ashley’s story was filled with twists and turns…

when the chips were down, Colter and Ashley proved just how deep their love flowed….Jan Springer has written yet another wonderful story about the Outlaw brothers. If you need a bit of action, suspense, and tantalizing lovemaking then Colter’s Revenge is just what you are looking for.”

Sweet mercy! Scandalous has two more reviews for us. Thanks Scandalous Minx!!

For “Tyler’s Woman” she’s given 5 Nymphs! Here’s some of what she says,

“Laurie Callahan has been in love with Tyler Outlaw since she was a teenager. She has contracted the virus and Tyler’s style of loving has quenched her new sexual appetite. Tyler decides to take his teaching skills and enlist in the war. He hopes that he will be able to help others who have suffered and educate those with a desire to learn. While overseas, an act of bravery will cost him his freedom…
Tyler receives a lifeline when he discovers that his new cellmate is his best friend Hunter Brown. The men would endure the same brutal torture for years. Five years later, Tyler is a free man and ready to reclaim his woman…

Jan Springer shows us just how out of control biochemical warfare can get in Tyler’s Woman…Reading what all three characters endured puts tears in your eyes…However, you see their strength and determination, even when their spirits should have been broken…

The sexual chemistry is charged and the love is true. Jan Springer brings war and love up close and personal in Tyler’s Woman. If you have read the other books in this series, you will not be disappointed with the latest installment.”

And for “Jude Outlaw” she gives 4 Nymphs and says:

“Cate Callahan learns the man she loves, Jude Outlaw, is coming home after serving in the terrorist war. Under normal circumstances, it would be good news, but Jude is bringing his four brothers along to claim Cate under the new law. Cate decides to do what any red-blooded woman would do who knew what freedom felt like prior to the new law’s enactment - she runs…

You have to love those Outlaw brothers. They are strong, determined, and fiercely protective…Jan Springer has written a wonderful introduction to this ongoing saga that is sure to be a treat for those who enjoy the softer side of BDMS.”

More updates…

July 26th, 2008

How do you like all this rain we are getting? All I can say is it beats the heatwave!!

Alas all this cool summery weather is letting me get some work done. “The Hitman” is sitting on my Ellora’s Cave editor’s desk for consideration. EC has made a contract offer on “Kiss Me” and I’m still awaiting the changes.

Tyler’s Woman got some nice reviews!

ratingangel.jpgratingangel.jpgratingangel.jpgratingangel.jpgratingangel.jpg

5 Fallen Angels from Contessa at Fallen Angel Reviews.

Here’s a bit of what she said:

“Tyler’s Woman was a super-hot read from start to finish. From the frequently lustful, sexual escapades to the touch-and-go, dangerous situations Tyler’s Woman kept me hanging onto the edge of my seat with breathless anticipation always eager to discover what will happen next.

There was never a dull moment within this novel and the characters whether good or bad were very intriguing and made the plot flow in a smooth, thrilling manner. The sex was very naughty and caused my body to burn with flaming desire. Overall, Tyler’s Woman was a wonderful story that I enjoyed losing myself in. I excitedly look forward to Jan Springer’s next Outlaw Lovers’ installment.”

Cool stuff! Thanks Contessa!

And Kyraninse from Night Owl Romance had this to say about Tyler’s Woman:

“I enjoyed this book – especially Laurie and Tyler. They were full-fleshed characters, both brave and heroic in their own way. The plot was gripping, especially as I wasn’t always certain who was friend or foe.

I also appreciated how, although Laurie’s actions were those of a hero’s, she was perfectly honest and frank about her own feelings. It made the story truly come to life, that she wasn’t just filled with false bravery – the talk she gave to the recruits was what was especially moving.

One of my favorite characters was Blade though; I was slightly disappointed how he just left at the end. I’m definitely looking forward to other books by Jan Springer – especially if Blade or Red’s story gets told, preferably together.”

More of Kyraninse’s review can be found at Night Owl’s website .  Kyraninse gave TW 3 hearts!!

Alas I must shove off. I hope you have a great weekend singing in the rain or in the sunshine where ever you are. :-)

Hugs,

jan

Update!

July 13th, 2008

What’s Been Happening?

Thanks so much for all your emails! Since I’m getting so many from readers asking about the several series I have at Ellora’s Cave, I thought I’d better post an update.

News!!!

Undercover Series:

There’s been a contract offer made on “Kiss Me” sequel to Peppermint Creek Inn! I’m in the process of ironing out the contract details and I’ll give you more news when everything is finalized. Book 3 “Intimate Stranger” is starting to be re-written into the erotic romance genre as we speak. *jan wiping sweat from her brow*

 Works-In-Progress!

The Hitman (previously titled A Hitman for Hannah) is being changed as we speak. I’m halfway through. *high five*

Heroes at Heart series - The 5th and 6th stories will most likely be combined into one book to be titled Captive Heroes. I’m merging the two outlines into one so I can start working on the final book in the Heroes at Heart series…you won’t be disappointed on the ending of this one!!!

Outlaw Lovers series - Book 5 and 6 will be on the back burner for a little while and may be combined into one book. Still debating on this for now.

Kidnap Fantasies series: ” Desperately Hot” - Beth and Sawyer’s story is also on the back burner for a little while.

“The Dark Side” - horror futuristic erotic romance - I’m venturing into the horror erotic romance genre on this one and working p/t on the outline. This is a scary one and keeps me spooked at night! It’s along the lines of the movie “Where Have All the People Gone” starring Peter Graves. Agent inquiries are welcome for The Dark Side.

Keep those emails coming!

Have a great day and take care!

Hugs,

jan

A Hitman for Hannah submitted to EC & Updates!

May 3rd, 2008

With the help of all my fantabulous proofers I’ve tweaked up my futurisitic erotic romance “A Hitman for Hannah” and sent it to Ellora’s Cave for their consideration. *me crossing my fingers they like it*

“Loverboy” will get a rewrite sometime down the road. Not sure when, but in the meantime I’m at Chapter 21 of Kiss Me. Wooot! I’ve considerably changed the plot in the last third of the book making the story stronger and hotter. *wink* *nudge*  I’m estimating another four to five chapters to go…wish me luck!
The sidings are almost completed on the garage/loft. Yeah! We have a friend doing the honors and it is looking very nice. Hopefully it won’t be too long before it is finished and I can start uploading pictures here. *grin*

In the meantime I hope you all are enjoying Spring. It’s been a nice one so far on my end. Lots of sunshine and warm days.

Wishing you all the best,

jan
